In John 8, when the Israelites told Jesus that the only Father they have is God, he said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me.  Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (John 8:42-44 NIV)  We shorten this scripture, by simply saying that “the devil is a liar.”

When we say, the devil is a liar, we rebuke the power of the enemy — as the negative, antagonizing, inharmonious thoughts of our own creation as well as that of race consciousness — the worries, fears and lies of our ancestors and of the world.  We release the presence of fear because the truth is that we have no reason to be afraid.  We cleanse ourselves of any energy that does not lift us in the highest consciousness of absolute good because Spirit is nothing but the love of the universe blessing us without ceasing.  Anything and anyone who does not contribute to our rightful place in the presence and power of God, we rebuke and call it by its rightful name: “a liar.”

Nothing is too great for us.  Nothing can prevent us from receiving, delivering and being God’s good.  Nothing stands between us and the victory of God’s manifestation.  Spirit even uses those who mean us harm to do us good.  When we rise from wherever we have fallen, we are blessed with the perfect demonstration of unlimited triumph.  We are lifted from lack as the rightful heir to the throne of God’s grace.  We are guided by the truth of God’s good that liberates us in a consciousness of victory.

During these 40 days of manifestation, we are exploring the Christ in us and experiencing the radiance of Spirit in every aspect of our being.  As we near Day 40, take the time to release and let go of those things and people and situations that are not in alignment with the truth – that because He lives, we can do – we can accomplish – we can be the greatness that we are.

Let us sit at the table prepared for us in the presence of our enemies.  Let us put on the whole armor of God.   Let us stand girded in truth.  Let us watch as our shackles fall by the wayside.  Let us move forward knowing whatever the appearances are, they cannot come nigh us.  Let us listen as the Holy Spirit speaks the truth through the light of our souls.  Let us stand strong, bold, courageous and resilient, knowing that the truth of Christ in us always sets us free.

Let us release, let go, and allow the goodness and greatness of the universe to shine as every aspect of our being.
