2 Samuel 5:2-3 says that “[w]hen the elders of Israel (highest thoughts) came to David, they anointed him (love) king of all Israel.”
Love was lifted as the only authority, the highest ruling force in charge.
We felt the penetrating power of love during Marlon’s ordination.
Love filled our hearts as we blessed him in a new dominion of God’s work.

We felt the love of God in our flesh and blood and every bone of our being.
These are the times and the connections that matter, the divine wholeness out of which we co-create,
out of which we choreograph a new movement,
out of which we sing a new song,
out of which we find obedience for that which the breath of life calls us to do.

This is where we drink the living water of God.
This is how we consume the divine expression in us — always seeking to expand beyond the confines of energy and light.

This is where we hear the melody of Spirit pouring from every melody,
every vein, every cell, every atom, every note, every vibration that shapes our souls.

What is an ordination?
It is a new season, where we will acknowledge with renewed faith the drop of Spirit that shapes us.

Ordination is an acknowledgement of our obedience to God.

You don’t call yourself to be ordained.
Ordination requires a series of steps: God’s calling, your agreement, the community’s embrace,
and Spirit’s instruction to clergy to anoint you in the faith.
Ordination pours from a new stream of enlightenment: a series of gifts that order us,
charge us, feed us, clothe us, bless us  with the power of grace.

Marlon Edward Cromwell,
May you listen to the Holy Spirit,
realizing that “your” calling is not your own, it is God’s.
May you be humble and respect not only your spiritual leader –
whatever form she or he may take but also your friends,
colleagues and those you meet on the highways and byways of life.
may you be compassionate,
conscientious and a
cooperative student of truth.
 May you center in the stillness each day,
and learn to be aware of every
movement of Spirit –
summoning you to co-create
with its absolute good,
awesome power
and amazing grace of the Kingdom within.
