The ego perceives itself at war and therefore in need of allies. We must not look for others but recognize all as equals because equals are at peace. Because God’s equal children have everything, they cannot compete. The idea of competition should not enter our minds.

Do not underestimate your need to be vigilant against the idea of competition, because all our conflicts come from it.

The day of Pentecost came:  a violent wind filled the place where the people were, and tongues of fire rested on people from every nation – and they were filled with the Holy Spirit.  (Acts 2: 1-4)   Tongues of fire – God calling all humanity to fulfill God’s divine appointment. Parmahansa Yogananda, a Hindu master, says babies, before they become familiar with a particular language and learn to vocalize it, are already equipped with thought and sensations. 

Babies throughout the world cry out in the same language and same sounds.
